What it is like

Male and female flowers are on separate plants. The fruit is small and fleshy with a stone inside. They are 9-12 mmlong by 7-9 mm wide.

It is a temperate plant. It is native to central and western China. It grows between 1,500-2,600 m above sea level. In Sichuan.
