What it is like
A herb. It grows each year from seed. It grows 10-50 cm tall. The leaves are narrowly sword shaped and 6-22 cm long by 1-2 cm wide. They can be divided and they can have teeth along the edge.

It is a temperate and subtropical plant. It grows on the edges of forests and along streams between 100-2,000 m above sea level. In Sichuan and Yunnan.
