What it is like
A bamboo. It grows 10-15 m tall and 6-10 cm wide. The internodes are 30-50 cm long. There are 3-9 leaves on the last branch. The leaf blade is 12-22 cm long by 2-3 cm wide.

It is a tropical plant. It is widespread at low elevations in southern China. In Yunnan.
