What it is like

A herb. It can grow from seed each year or keep growing from year to year. It grows 80 cm tall. The stems are branched. The leaves are alternate. They are divided 2 or 3 times. The flowering shoots are 20 cm long. The flowers are funnel shaped.

There are 14 Incarvillea species.


Where it is found

It is a temperate plant. In China it grows between 500-2,500 m above sea level.
