What it is like
It forms branching clusters of stems 15-25 cm long. The leaves are oval and 2-3 cm long. They are light green and thin. They are rounded at the tip and taper to the base. There is almost no leaf stalk.
There are about 80 Hygrophila species. They grow in the tropics.
