What it is like
A rounded shrub. It grows 1.8 m tall and spreads 1.5 m wide. The leaves are more narrow than garden Hydrangea. They have prominent teeth. The flower heads have flat tops. They can be white, pink or blue.
There are about 80 Hydrangea species.

It is a temperate plant. It suits hardiness zones 6-10.
