What it is like

The flowers are pea shaped and about 0.6 cm across. They are yellow and brown. They are in groups about 3-6 cm long. The fruit are pods about 1 cm long.

A temperate plant. It grows in well drained soil. It is best in light shade. It can tolerate frost. It is damaged by drought.
