What it is like

A tree. It loses its leaves during the year. It grows 10 m high. The bark is greyish-brown. It has irregular cracks. The leaves are narrowly oval and 5-9 cm long and 2-5 cm wide. They are densely velvety underneath. There are teeth along the edge. The fruit are round and fleshy with deep furrows along one side. They are 3.5 cm long by 3 cm across. They are yellow with a dense covering.
