What it is like

A tree. It grows 10 m tall. The bark is greyish brown. It can have irregular shallow splits. The leaf stalk is about 2 cm long and hairy. The leaf blades are narrowly oval and 6-10 cm long by 3-5 cm wide. There are yellowish brown hairs underneath. The fruit are 4 cm long by 3 cm wide. They have dense yellowish brown hairs.


Where it is found

It is a temperate plant. It grows in western Hubei in China. It grows at about 1,800 m altitude.
