What it is like

A climbing vine. The leaves have 5-7 lobes. The leaflets are spread like fingers on a hand and are 3-13 cm long by 0.3-5 cm wide. The fruit are oblong and 5-9 cm long. They are purple when ripe.

They have also been put in the family Lardizabalaceae.

It is a subtropical plant. In Yunnan.
