What it is like
A herb. The leaves are soft and grass-like. They are 4 mm wide and have long sheaths. The flowering shoot is 90 cm tall. The flowers are well spaced. They are usually all turned to one side.
Where it is found
It is a subtropical plant. It is rare in Swaziland.
