What it is like
A pumpkin family plant with an enlarged tuber. The stems and branches are slender. The tendrils are 6-10 cm long. The leaves have 5-7 leaflets. The leaf stalk is 4-5 cm long. The leaflets are sword shaped with rounded teeth. The leaflets are 4-9 cm long by 1.5-3 cm wide. The fruit are oval and 3.5-5 cm across. The seeds are dark brown and oval. They are 9-11 mm long by 8-9 mm wide.
