What it is like
A shrub or tree. It grows 6 m tall. It is spiny. The bark peels on small flakes. The leaves have 1-3 leaflets. The middle leaflets is 0.7-2.5 cm long by 0.3-1.5 cm wide. The side leaflets are smaller. The flower petals are dark red. The fruit is oval and has a beak. They are 12-17 mm long by 8-11 mm wide.
Probably edible. The fruit is used for medicine.
