What it is like

A herb. It is slightly woody. It has bristly hairs. The lower leaves are 1 cm long. The leaf blade is almost round. It has irregular lobes and teeth. The blades of the upper leaves are sword shaped and pointed. They are 4 cm long by 1 cm wide. About 3 flowers occur in a group. The fruit has short bristles.

These have also been in the Tiliaceae.


Where it is found

In Swaziland it grows in the low veld only.
