What it is like
A thistle like herb. It has spines. The stems are 50-80 cm long. It has dense hairs. The leaves alternate and are divided. The flowering heads are 5-6.5 cm long by 3-4.5 cm wide.
Where it is found
It is a temperate plant. It has been recorded at 800 m above sea level in Turkey.
