What it is like
A small tree. It loses many leaves during the year. It grows 2-3 m tall. The trunk has knotty swellings. The bark is yellow and peels off. The leaves are papery and they have blister like lumps on them. The leaves are 6-11 cm long. They flowers are in clusters on the stem. The fruit are pale green and 2-3 cm across.
