What it is like

A small hairy shrub. It grows 1-2 m high and spreads 1-1.5 m wide. Young growth has yellow hairs. The branches also have dense yellow hairs. The leaves are 1.5-4.5 cm long and 1 cm wide. The flowers are like tubes and 2.5-4 cm long. They can be pink, green or yellow. The fruit are oval and 0.8 cm long.

There are about 180 Eremophila species. They occur in Australia. Also put in the family Myoporaceae.
