What it is like
A shrub or small tree. It can grow to 12 m tall. Young stems have yellow hairs. Older branches are 3-4 angled. The leaves are oblong and 6.5-13 cm long by 3-8.5 cm wide. They have teeth along the edge. There are 1-3 flowers in a group. They are yellow to orange. The fruit have 1-4 lobes 7-10 mm long by 9-14 mm wide.
Where it is found
It is a tropical plant. It grows between 1,150-1,400 m above sea level.
