What it is like
An erect shrub. The young stems are hairy. The leaves are 6-18 cm long by 4-5 cm wide. They are narrowly oval.
Also put in the family Tiliaceae. Some have this as a synonym of Grewia glandulosa and others as a synonym or Grewia occidentalis.
Where it is found
It is a subtropical plant.
