What it is like

A shrub or small tree. It can be climbing. The leaves are narrowly oval and 7-18 cm long and 3-8 cm wide. They taper to a short tip. The flowers are in groups with many flowers. The flowers are white. The fruit is bright red. It has one seed. The pulp is fibrous.

These were in the families Sparrmanniaceae and the Tiliaceae.
