What it is like
A herb or small shrub. It grows up to 2 m tall. The stem is coated with white hairs. The leaves are 9 cm long and can have teeth along the edge. The flowers are like potato flowers and white and yellow. The fruit is a round berry 1 cm wide.
There are about 1400 Solanum species.
