What it is like
A tree. It grows 7-10 m high. The crown is spreading. The bark is pale yellow. The small branches have hairs. The leaves are broadly oval and 10-17 cm long by 6-8 c, wide. The is a point at the tip and they are rounded at the base. The fig are produced on the trunk. They are 2.5 cm across. They are red when ripe.
Where it is found
It is a subtropical plant. It grows in southern China.
