What it is like
An evergreen shrub. It grows 1-3 m high. The branches are covered with hairs. The leaves are alternate and broadly sword shaped. They are 2-7 cm long by 5-10 mm wide. They are wedge shaped at the base. The flowers are separate and in small round heads. The fruit is oval and 1 cm long. They can be white or red.
