What it is like
An evergreen tree. It grows 1-6 m high. The young branches are yellowish-brown. The leaves are oblong and leathery. They are 8-13 cm long by 3-4 cm wide. They taper to the tip and are round or wedge shaped at the base. The flowers occur singly at the ends of branches and are white. They are 3 cm across. The fruit is a round capsule 5-6 cm across. They are yellow-brown. There are about 10 seeds.
