What it is like

The flowers are 2-4 cm long. The fruit are oval and red. They are 2-3 cm long by 1.5 cm wide. They have one seed. It is narrowly oval and 10 mm long by 8 mm wide.

There are 25-30 Phaleria species. They grow in the tropics and subtropics.
