What it is like
A herb. It keeps growing from year to bear. It has stems that act as runners and they can form roots at the nodes. They can be 90 cm long. They have grooves along them. The leaves are 5 cm across. They are divided into 5 lobes. The flowers usually occur as 2 together. The flowers are white or purple.
Where it is found
It is a Mediterranean climate plant. It grows in damp shady places.
