What it is like
A stout erect shrub up to 2 m tall. It often hangs down from rock crevices. The stems are flexible and triangle shaped or winged. The small branches are red. The leaves are oblong. There are 16-22 flowers in a group. They are hairy and hang down. The flowers are 12-14 mm long. The fruits are round and hang like a bunch of grapes. They are edible.
