What it is like

A tree. It grows to 40 m tall. The trunk can be 1.2 m across. The leaves are alternate and compound. There are 10-24 leaflets. These are 10-16 cm long by 3-4 cm wide. The fruit are fleshy with a stone inside. They are 2 cm long by 1.5 cm wide. There are 1-4 seed per stone.

There are 2 Ganophyllum species.
