What it is like

A herb. It keeps growing from year to year. It grows 10-45 cm high. The stems come directly from the rootstock or creeping rhizome. The stems have 2 lines. The leaves do not have leaf stalks. The leaves are 2-3 cm long by 5-12 mm wide.

There are about 400 Hypericum species. Also put in the family Clusiaceae.


Where it is found

It is a temperate plant. It grows in grassy and stony ridges from sea level to 2000 m altitude in China. In Sichuan.
