What it is like
A weak herb. The leaves have stalks. They are opposite and 1.8-15 cm long by 1-6 cm wide. They are oval and taper to the tip. They have teeth around the edge. The flowers are green. They are on a long stalk. These are in the axils of leaves. The flower receptacle is saucer shaped.
Where it is found
A subtropical plant. In Nepal it grows between 1200-3000 m altitude. It is common in wet and shady places. In China it grows in moist places in forests between 1,300-2,700 m above sea level. In Sichuan and Yunnan.
