What it is like
A tree. It grows 30 m high. The trunk can be 90 cm across. The leaves have 3-7 pairs of leaflets. The leaflets are narrowly oval and 8-32 cm long by 3-10 cm wide. They are thin and leathery. The flowering shoots are near the ends of branches. The fruit are slightly flattened and 4-5 cm long by 3 cm wide.
Where it is found
A tropical plant. It grows in the rainforest. It is mostly at low altitudes and up to 650 m altitude.
