What it is like
A bamboo. It grows 4-8 m tall. The stems are 3 cm across. The internodes are 12-15 cm long. There are 2 or 3 leaves on the last branch. The leaf blades are 5-12 cm long by 1-2 cm wide.
Where it is found
It is a tropical plant. It grows on slopes in forests at about 600 m above sea level.
