What it is like
A fig. It is a shrub or small tree. It can be 1- 3 m tall. It has spreading branches and the tree can be leaning. The leaves are dark green above and pale underneath. The figs are in the axils of the leaves. They are round and green. They are 2-3 cm across.
Where it is found
It is a tropical plant. It occurs along the north coast of Papua New Guinea and in New Britain. It is at low elevations.
