What it is like
A climbing shrub. It grows 2-3 m high. The stems can be slightly hairy. The leaves are opposite and oval. They are 5-12 cm long by 2-6 cm wide. The leaf stalk is 7-25 mm long. The flower panicles can be in axils of leaves or at the end of branches. They are 4-30 cm long. The flower tube is white and hairy outside and dark purple inside. The fruit is round. They are 4-6 mm across. They are shiny yellow-brown.
