What it is like
A cabbage family herb. A small shrub. It grows each year from seed. It has a woody base. It is hairy. It grows 15-45 cm high. The leaves are narrow and 1-3 cm long. The flowers are large and in spikes. The fruit seed capsule is 15-20 mm long and 5-7 mm wide. The seeds are round and with wings.
There are about 10 Farsetia species.

It is a subtropical plant. It can grow in the desert. It grows in sandy places.
