What it is like
A bamboo. The culms are 4-7 cm long and 3-6 cm wide. The internodes are 28-36 cm long. There are 8-25 branches at each node. There are 3-7 leaves at the last branch. The leaf blade is 13-19 cm long by 12-18 mm wide.
Where it is found
It is a subtropical plant. It grows between 1,700-2,500 m above sea level in Sichuan and Yunnan.
