What it is like
A cabbage family herb. It has fine hairs. It grows about 60 cm high. The lower leaves have stalks, while the upper leaves do not. The leaves are sword shaped and can be indented and with teeth. The flowers are yellow. The fruit is a pod. It has many seeds.
There are 80 Erysimum species.
Where it is found
It is a temperate plant. In Nepal it grows from 1600-3500 m altitude.
