What it is like
A herb. It grows 75 cm tall. It has a tuberous root that is 4 cm across. The stems are slightly fleshy and have ridges along them. They can lie along the ground and they can form roots where they touch the ground. The leaves are broadly oval and 8 cm long by 3 cm wide. The capsule is has 3 lobes and the seeds are 4 angled.
