What it is like
A twining herb. It keeps growing from year to year. The stems are woody at the base. The leaves are triangle shaped and heart shaped at the base. They taper to the tip. There are often red markings on the top. The flowers are red or green. The fruit are round or oval. They are 10-12 mm long. They have 3 wings.
Where it is found
It is a temperate plant. In Nepal it grows between 2,400-3,000 m above sea level.
