What it is like
A shrub. It grows 8 m tall. The leaves are alternate and simple. The flowers are 13 mm across. They are white and the petals have lobes. They are in small bundles in the axils of leaves. The fruit are about 1.5 cm long. They are green to orange and fleshy.
Where it is found
It is a tropical plant. It grows in forests up to 1,200 m above sea level. It can be on wet alluvial sites and on dry hillsides. It grows in Borneo.
