What it is like
A tree. It grows 30 m tall. Young leaves and branches are hairy. The leaves are grey-green above and green underneath. The leaves are 13-21 cm long by 7-9 cm wide. The fruit are oval and 3-4 cm long by 2-3 cm wide. They taper at both ends.
Where it is found
It is a tropical plant. It grows in valleys in evergreen forests between 400-1,400 m above sea level. It grows in Yunnan in China.
