What it is like
A shrub or small tree. It grows 3-4 m tall. Young branches are hairy. The leaves are often clustered in short shoots. They are broadly oval and 1.5-3.5 cm long by 1-3 cm wide. The flowers are in loose groups. The ripe fruit are orange and 5-6 mm across.
There are about 50 Ehretia species. An unresolved name in The Plant List.
Where it is found
A tropical plant. It grows between 100-1,000 m above sea level.
