What it is like

A small tree. It grows 4 m tall. It has a brown coating. The leaves are in clusters near the tip of the shoots. They are arranged in spirals and 7-14 cm long by 4-7 cm wide. Male and female flowers are separate. The flowers are yellow to cream. The fruit has brown hairs. The fruit are 1-1.5 cm long. There are 5 seeds.


Where it is found

It is a tropical plant. It grows in occasionally flooded sandy savanna between 100-150 m above sea level.
