What it is like
A tree. It grows 30 m tall. The leaves are alternate and simple They are thick and leathery. The flowers are 4 mm across. They are yellow to red and in groups in the axils of leaves. The fruit are about 3.5 cm long. They are orange and fleshy. The seeds are in a sweet pulp.
Where it is found
It is a tropical plant. It grows in forests up to 1,600 m above sea level. It can be on sandy or clay soils. It grows in Borneo.
