What it is like
A shrub. It grows 1 m tall. The branches are 2 m long and hang down. The bark cracks in long strips. The leaves have fine wrinkles and are narrowly oval and 4-8 mm long by 2-5 mm wide. The fruit is a berry 5-6 mm across and white and lets light through.
Where it is found
It is a cold temperate plant. It grows between 1,830-3,500 m above sea level.
