What it is like

A tree. It grows 16-30 m tall. Young twigs are reddish-brown. The leaves are leathery and narrowly oval. They are 8-24 cm long by 4-11 cm wide. Flowering shoots have 3 flowers. The flowers are 1 cm wide. The fruit are round and 5 cm across.

It is a threatened species.
