What it is like
A shrub or small tree. The leaves are oval to sword shaped and 6-13 cm long by 3-4 cm wide. The are rounded at the base and taper to the tip. Young leaves are hairy. The flowers are golden yellow. The fruit is round and 2 cm across.
The leaves and fruit are used as a black dye. The berry juice is used to treat worms.
