What it is like
A yam. It is a twining vine. It can grow 5 m long. It grows from a fleshy tuber. The tuber can be 20 cm across. The leaves are broad and almost kidney shaped. The edges of the leaves are wavy. They are 2-6 cm long by 1-6 cm wide.
It is an at risk species.

It is a tropical plant. It grows in dry sclerophyllous forests on limestone and sand.
