What it is like

A shrub. The leaves are broadly oval. They are 8-14 cm long by 5-8 cm wide. They taper to a short tip. The base is rounded and tapers into a long stalk. The flowers are in flat topped clusters in the axils of leaves. One sepal forms a pale yellow bract. The flowers are 3-4 cm long and golden yellow. They have a long tube. The fruit are oval berries 1-1.3 cm long.
