What it is like
A shrub. It grows 2-3 m tall. The leaves have 3 leaflets. The end leaflet is oblong and 2-5 cm long by 1-2 cm wide and the other leaflets are smaller. They are hairy underneath. There are 10 flowers in a group. They are white or pale yellow. The pod is broadly oval and 4-10 mm long by 3-7 mm wide.
There are 17 Dendrolobium species.
Where it is found
A tropical plant. It grows in clear forests. It grows from 100-800 m altitude in Hainan, China.
